So Pixe picked up the litter box training really well. Never peed in her cage…always in her box. poop is a diffreent story she leaves those everywhere but mostly in her box.

Her cage is in the dining room and we block it off wtih gates so she can roam the room if she wants. Well I am noticiing that she is peeing on the vents for the AC/heat….I think she is thinking they are like her cage she lived in at the breeders home. Should I be locking her back up in her cage? That is the only place she is peeing on.

You could block the vents off with some NIC grids to stop her from getting to them.. thats the only thing I can think of.

for the time being I just put a cardboard box over it and cut the top off so it is not blocking the air. So far she has not gone over to it but I am afraid as she gets older will move it so for now it is just temporary till I figure some thing out. I have 3 vents in that room. Just trying to think because we leave her door open to cage so she can roam. I feel too bad locking her in there.

You could also put another litter box out by one or 2 of the vents, so she sees it and recognizes it.
