  alright please tell me I am not the only one. when I am out a long time I call the home phone and talk to cotton he has never answered tho. does anyone else do this? I just don’t want him to feel lonely
  
  and I sing him songs with his name in it. hehe his ears will stand up.

  Awww…that’s so cute! ^^ I had my daughter call me when I was away from home once to ask “Bunny 911” what to feed Mimzy. but I don’t think I got to say hello to him.
  I don’t know if my bun would recognize my voice over the phone…it sounds totally different.

  Never called home to my buns but I’ve actually considered (and still thinking about) getting one of those little tabletop relaxation fountains for my buns. They have such stressful lives you know.
  
  I think animals enjoy sounds and music the same as we do. For instance while I’m exercising my horse if we are listening to a slow, country song or something she is relaxed and if the next song is fast and rythmic you can instantly see the difference. You should see her move when I put on some classic arabic belly dance stuff!
  
  I’ve seen relaxation cds for cats and dogs. Anyone ever try those? My cats are pretty expert relaxers already!

  i want to set up a webcam by the bunny area so i can look in on them when i’m away. i have no idea how to do this tho. does anyone know if its hard to do? i like to sing “Here comes peter cottontail to them”. I think it helps the get used to my voice so they always know its me when im coming in the room cuz they always look around when they hear footsteps. i’m glad noone can hear me tho!

  Last week, I called my husband. He was watching Holly. He told me that he was going to put me on speakerphone. Once he had me there, he said talk to Holly. He said she stood on her hind legs looking around for me.

  My buns definitely listen to me when I speak to them. They turn one big eye to stare at me and turn an ear towards my voice and just stare while I say whatever I have to say.

  We do that when we are away…. I just hope the sitter isn’t there when we do it! She’ll think we’re crazy or something!
