So when I first got Nibbler, she was tiny and I made her a little cardboard house with one opening. She always flipped it over and sat in it. Even when I put it back upright, she would immediately flip it over. After learning a little more, I figured it was cause I had just put one entrance in. So now I’ve made the buns a few big cardboard hidey houses with 2 entrances and windows, so I can see them. Every time I give her one, she still flips it over as soon as she can get it over. Is it normal for a rabbit not to like hidey houses?

yes, it is very normal. mine does not like them at all. he prefers to be in the open. some buns don’t like the because they don’t want to feel confined into a small space. also that is what Benji does lol. he loves to flip his house over and chew on it

I think most bunnies love it if they have a place to hide when it’s necessary, but there is a minority of buns who don’t like it.

Nibbler sounds quite like she is playing though. You could try getting her some stacking cups or other toys that she can flip over and toss around to see if that helps

She does like to flip it over and chew on it, but sometimes she flips it over just to flop in it. She’s a cute little bun. I do think she would love stacking cups, she’s the one who likes to toss toys around and is much more into toys than Georgie.
