When Cotton eats his food his eyes get real big.  It is so funny.    I will put something on top his cage and he hops up here and eats it.  His eyes get big and move towards the back of his head.

I know they can’t see  in front of their nose so it is no point in them looking forward to their nose            I suppose thats why he moves his eyes to the back towards his ears.     But it is so funny they get all big and  the pupils get bigger.

Ok I know I notice strange things about buns.    So don’t laugh     …   well uh go ahead

Is it that his pupil get bigger? I know the expression “making cow eyes” is when a person’s pupils get really big, which is a reaction when they feel love, infatuation or affection when looking at someone they love, that’s why the expression is used for that. He might be very happy to be eating and fed by his favorite slave.

Maybe he’s keeping an eye out that no one (Ruby?) is gonna take his food?

Jersey is sort of “revved up” when eating but Rumball actually half closes his eyes and munches away.

Yes, mine do this too, I take it as expression of enjoyment. Mine also do another funny thing when receiving noms: they twitch their skin!
