So my baby bun is now 6 weeks going to be 7 this sunday. What a sweetie this bun is. Already pretty much litter trained in only about a week and LOVES LOVES toys. Only problem is that Harley can pretty much get through through the X-Pen slots LOL I have Harley out in the pen and Oreo running free in the house. Oreo doesnt care really for Harley but Harley always wants to be around the other bun. Even when the cages are side by side Oreo doesnt attack lounge growl or anything, is this a good sign?

I would never bond them now as I dont know if it would be a good idea but I am just wondering once Harley is at the age and is fixed if it might be easier?

But overall as much as I dont like the baby bunny stage lol I like them older I am having the time of my life with this little bun brings such love and joy

have we seen pics yet? if not… please?

what you might want to do to make the xpen safer is ziptie some NIC grids along the bottom.

i don’t think this is a good or bad sign. he is so little right now that there’s no way for you to know what will happen when he is of age. once he’s neutered (about 4 months) you can try to put them together. also, some buns will get along betw/ cage bars, but once that barrier is gone, it’s war.

right now just enjoy the sweet little baby stage and worry about that later when the time comes.

I have that problem with Tucker too..she can get through almost all gates because she’s so small.  I use NIC grids for most of her gated off areas.  I also have a baby gate that has teeny tiny holes in that I use..but on that one she can get underneath it REALLY easily because of our baseboards so I need to take a piece of wood and put it there so she can’t get through.  Hubby’s getting REALLY sick of this though LOL and so I think we’re going to be investing in some walk through gates LOL.  He’s sick of having to step over gates in order to get anywhere downstairs.
