Cotton really seems to like his Ruby.  He doesn’t join me on the couch anymore.   I feel all left out.  Oftentimes he and Ruby lie next to each other. Ruby just hopped off and is chewing on their cardboard box.  They really enjoy that.  Cotton does more chewing since he has Ruby.  And Ruby grooms my little Cotton boo.  Awe.

How sweet.  Cotton is quite the gentleman too he grooms her a lot. HE shares his hay and his food.  His house and litterboxes too.

When I leave Ruby in her house when we are gone Cotton must miss her. HE is so happy when she comes out to be with him.

They both lie on the litter container and I go pet them both up there. OH gosh there goes Ruby with all this hay hanging off her face as she is eating 1 piece of hay.  Oh here comes Cotton. HE still comes next to me at the computer to see me. Awe. My sweetie Cotton.

He purrs his teeth when I talk to him. Thats sweet.

Even though Ruby is pedigreed lionhead I think she is going to have hair like an angora. The hair grows constantly I notice and I trim around her bum to keep the area clean and stuff from sticking and dragging.  I guess I got my angora after all.   Lionheads are a new breed so you really do not know how they will turn out.  A couple more generations and they will be more consistent I am sure.  Some shed and lose their manes for good some grow back bigger some thinner.  Some have more long hair than others then others turn out like Ruby.  A lot more of them though have the proper mane and skirt.

My friends lionhead Jesse he shed and his mane is not growing back out at all.  Awe.

Cotton loves his cage. His shelf  is his favorite space.  I put the water dish under there but Ruby keeps pulling it out to drink from it and she won’t put it back.

My little Cotton has been doing great with his big litterbox in his house now too.  He hits the right spot everytime.

I like his little round face and his blue eyes

We were going to go vote early today but Hubby is not feeling good.  I wanted to bring Cotton he said does Cotton have a voting card?  I said well… he can get one.  Hubby said he can’t vote so he should stay home.  I said he can chew next to the name he wants to vote for.   HEheehe.

yeah I can see me telling the voting people that one.

I can’t wait til SAturday to go get their new food Oxbow. Cotton probably won’t be too happy at first.  Maybe he might like it I hope so.

He is enjoying his hay right now. His timmy hay.  I give him and ruby and hb timmy and brome.  HB seems to really like brome too. Just like Cotton does.

I would love to pick them  up some orchard hay from OXbow too when I go.

Gosh all this talk about hay is making me hungry.  Let me go find something.

Awww…and to think just a short time ago you thought they might not ever get along! ^_^ So glad to hear all is well with the two of them. Yup, it sure is sad when they prefer each others company and we wind up being the third wheels, huh? *cries*

Now Ruby and Cotton don’t share space 24 hrs? Is it just when you go out or do they sleep in separate spaces too?

They will sleep seperate houses til Ruby’s hormones die down after her little girl surgery.  I have come home twice and Cotton’s hair was all over and they were lying side by side.  Hmpf.  Go figure.
