Hello all, has anyone used Halo’s Cloud 9 Herbal Healing Salve on their rabbit?  I saw a reviewer that said they used it for their rabbit’s sore hocks and I’ve seen a rabbit site that I buy stuff from selling it too.  My rabbit has been wearing her e-collar and won’t keep her head still so her ears rub the top of the cone all the time.  The back of her ears look a little irritated from the rubbing and I was thinking that putting a little bit of that might make it feel a little better.

Or does anyone know of something similar I might try?  If not, it doesn’t seem to bother her all that much.

I read the ingredients and it sounds like it may be okay but you might want to ask the vet too if there is something they recommend.

I know rabbits clean their ears from time to time too but I’m not sure if your bunny would even be able to with the e-collar.

My vet treats sore hocks and things like that with that Vitamin D baby cream that people use for babies with diaper rash.

you can try padding any areas of the cone that appear to be rubbing- just use guaze as a cushion and medical tape to adhere it to the cone.

I thought about padding the cone before but she manages to spin it around so the same side is not always up .  For now the cone is off.  I am keeping a close eye on her.  I hope we don’t have to put it back on!
