So I’ve noticed over maybe the past 6 months that Warri’s been getting gray hair. His fur is dark gray anyway, but now he’s getting a lot of silvery gray hairs all over his body. He just went through a heavy shed and now they’re even more noticeable. He’s 4 years old and looks like a grandpa now!

Anyone else notice this in their buns? I suppose it probably is only really noticeable in dark colored buns…

It’s pretty common to see changes in color after a shed

I notice the opposite.. with Pudge. He always had grey hair on his ears and around his tail but in the past couple months odd brown fur patches grew on his ears. All the rest of his ears are grey but now they’re are just random little furry brown patches LOL.

One of my bunnies is turning gray too, but he’s just steadily been turning gray, not really a sudden thing.

Cotton has gray on his head and skirt.   I notice with his light shed it is going brown as he did last year near spring.  Come his fall shed it goes gray again

My rabbit, Buddy, is getting more silver, gray hair especially on his head and face. He’s getting old like his dad.

I experienced this with a black lop I had as well.
