I meant to post this on Monday, but I came down with a rip roarin’ cold(which I still have) and I haven’t been feeling well enough to get on the computer, but I feel good today..therefore I figured I’d post this now.

On Sunday morning I woke up at around 7am and let Duncan out into his playpen to run around. The playpen is pressed up against my bed because it’s also connected to his cage which is next to my bed. I went downstairs and took care of the horses/dogs/cats and did dishes/handwash/swept and all that fun stuff. I got a bowl of cereal and walked upstairs to my room to watch some tv. I walk in and see something on my bed, where my covers are pulled back(where I had been laying). that something is DUNCAN. He was sitting there in my spot like it was absolutely normal that he’d be on my bed hanging out. once I was sure he was okay I just started cracking up, the first thing I did was grab the camera and take pictures(I need to upload them onto the computer, once I do, I’ll post them!). I crawled into bed and he sat on my lap and let me cuddle him while I ate my cereal and watched some lame tv. It was adorable! Once I finished my cereal I just picked him up and set him back in his pen.
I figured once he got on my bed, he wouldn’t stop, but he actually hasn’t done it since..so maybe not! We’ll see..

I’m really impressed though, because he’s just 4 months old AND a smaller breed, but he jumped REALLY high up! I knew they could, but jeez..come on! My bed is not tiny either… it’s got a 6 inch lift from a metal bed frame, the box spring is about twice the size of a normal mattress and the actual mattress is also twice the size of a normal mattress WITH a 4 inch pillowtop..so it makes it even bigger he’s an impressive little fella, apparently!

Wow! Sounds quite impressive! My buns aren’t much for jumping. I KNOW they’re capable, and am just waiting for them to figure it out and get into all sorts of trouble!

I’m looking forward to some pictures of the little devil!

You’ll have to measure the whole height and report back! So cute he stayed and hung out with you. He’s been a spritely little thing so far!

OH boy another little jumper.   Cool.  For some reason smaller buns are good at jumping

When Cotton does his happy jump to land on the couch or his house he will jump like a foot higher than where he wants to land. And when he comes down he lands on top.    I just love his happy jumps. He knows it too.

You never know your little rascal may just surprise you again.

That’s funny -maybe he sneaks up there when you aren’t around
