I recently rescued this beautiful boy and named him Boo.

I found him in an awful outdoor hutch with his mother and two siblings. The owner was not aware the rabbit was pregnant and did not put anything in the hutch to give the babies traction. Sadly, the result was Boo having one severely splayed leg (I don’t know if you can tell in the photo, but his front left leg is pulled along his side) and his other leg has some splayed tendencies. I was told they were going to set him free due to his leg, so I hurried there and took him home. He gets around fine, but seems to get himself in trouble when given free range of my room. Due to his leg, he isn’t as agile as other rabbits and I will find him stuck and not able to turn himself around due to his leg. He also likes to climb things, but when he jumps down his two front legs cannot catch him and he will face plant.
I am afraid of him getting hurt, so he is currently (and temporarily) living in a cage. I was wondering if anyone has ideas on how to build a habitat for him that will give him room to run, but keep him safe.
Also, I know this isn’t related to the topic, but does anyone have any idea what breed he may be?
