TOYS:

Bunny Play is “Prey Play” which is much different than “Predator Play”. Play for animals incorporates behavior that helps them perfect  their survival skillss.  For example, a dog and cat may play by stalking and/or chasing.  

Rabbits survive by making sure they can easily escape and be hidden – exploration, digging, and chewing all cater to the instincts that allow them to feel safer and more secure.  A bunny that knows every inch of its territory via exploration, and rabbit that has cleared a path by chewing things in its way, and is able to dig out resting areas, burrows, and able to find a compfy secure hiding place are all included in “Bunny Play.”

[Plumped Cuddly Bunnies]

I’ve seen some creative bunny homes on here. I need to re-build the bunny summer house outside because there has been mice coming up from the outside pipes and building nests under the living room door step and they help themselves to the rabbit food. All this needs to be addressed so the existing summer bunny home needs to come down and every thing moved so I can get to work at mouse proofing the outside area and blocking up any holes. Any mice I find I will capture them then release them in a safe place somewhere else, hopefully they will go as I begin the work. If I don’t take care of the issue now its only a matter of time before they end up in the house. 😯

I need to build the pregnant female her new enclosure for when she has her babies, that wont take long I pretty much have everything I just need to buy some of those corner fixing plates and another litter tray.

I forgot to add that when I take down the bunny summer house I will build a better one that will have 3 levels to it.
