Hi there, I got my rabbit a couple days ago. She’s about 9 weeks old. When I got her I noticed that she had some dark something around her nose area, but I didn’t think much of it since I thought it was dirt. But, she has more around her nose now which makes me think it’s some sort of nasal discharge. I tried to get it off but its stuck to her fur. What could this be and why is it happening?

It looks like discharge with “dirt” (probably hay dust) stuck in it. You can try getting it off by using a warm wet washcloth to soften it. If you are able to get it off, then you can watch to see if her nose continues to run. Having a runny nose is a sign of a URI, which isn’t uncommon.
