My bunny is free roamed, during the day. Until he goes to sleep then he is put into our guest room. He loves my bedroom, I think only because he’s recently been allowed into it. He use to hide under the bed, but now he knows he won’t be in trouble for being in here. So now whenever I’m in bed. He will just sit and lay by the door like a guard dog. Why is he doing this ? He had my entire apartment besides my washroom to explore and he will sit by my doorway for as long as I’m lounging in my bed for.

Wick does this as well and I think it’s just a survival instinct, in which a rabbit wants to be at the best place to survey the area while also monitoring where you are. You are a provider of food and potential security, so they stick by you visually.
