I wanted to try and grow some grass for my buns but I havn’t the slightest idea of how to go about that?! I do not trust the grass in our apartment complex nor do I trust taking them outside, but I wanted to see if they’d eat it?

Get a pot, seed from the hardware store, soil, plant water sun….

For a small thing should cost you less than $5.

I did my whole front lawn from seed a few years ago….while it was cheap and easy I decided to sod the backyard when it was time.

You can get several types, shade, part shade, full sun…then there are types like what we use here in WI, Fescue and bluegrass. You can even do an annual grass that will grow only for one season but comes up fast.

If you tell your hardware store what you are using it for I’m sure they will tell you the best type. Really though anything should work in a pot.

I bought a catgrass kit. Catgrass can be different types though. The one I got is cocksfoot aka orchard grass.
