My bun seems to shed almost constantly.  The hair buster comb works great, but the problem is, she hates being picked up, so to get her into an area where I can groom her without her running away is extremely difficult.  I’ve tried running a lint roller over her, and that works to remove the loose hair, but it’s not enough.  I really want to try a grooming glove since she loves being petted all over.  I bought one a long time ago in the cat section of a pet store, and it didn’t work at all.

Does anyone have experience with these?  Is there a brand that works well for short haired buns?

I know quite a few people that use Grooming Gloves, I obviously haven’t tried them as I don’t house a rabbit at the moment, but I have friends who I have asked.
As for brands, I think a lot of them are the same, except for higher-end brands which I will list below. I think if you are going to use a cheaper one from the pet store, don’t expect them to work anywhere near as nice as a hair buster, as it is a completely different concept.
Here are some gloves that seem to have greats reviews as for the hair-removing aspect:

          – Petmate FurBuster 3-in-1 Dog Grooming Glove: via chewy.com
          – The Groomin’ Glove – Pet Grooming Glove Brush and Bathing Mitt by BoundlessPets: via amazon.com
          Best of luck xx

          Have a great day, -L

I’ve heard grooming blocks work well. I want to get one for my big, short haired boy who is a nightmare to groom. You can get these at most horse supply stores.

Thank you all so much! I ordered the grooming block and the Hands on grooming and bathing glove. I’ll let you all know how they work!

I have tried pet grooming gloves on my rabbits before. They both hated it – they were scared of it. As in, my normally very docile boy Poe was boxing and biting at it. What I’ve found works better for them is actually getting a little water on my hands and giving them a bunny massage. They love the attention and I love getting so much loose fur off of them.
