I’m sure someone has mentioned this site before but I couldn’t find it in a quick forum search, so here you go again =)

        http://www.guineapigcages.com/

On the lower left hand side they have a “Find materials” box which I actually thought was pretty helpful… found local places for chloroplast and the costs (11-15 bucks for a 4×8 sheet).  I read there that apparently walmart used to have long grids which you snapped together in the pets section for 10bucks?

PS. I really think we should stop calling them NIC as that company apparently is out of business and googling the term isn’t going to help you find many resources for cage building.  SO what should we call them? Let’s have a SURVEY! YAY!  I reckon just calling them grid cubes would work…

I think “cubes” is good. I know that they actually go by different names and since they are meant to be used as wire shelving, it really depends on where you get them from. So “Cubes” or “Shelving Cubes” is a good place to start.
