My vet suggest I try it to introduce more variety into the bunnys’ diet. I figured it wouldn’t go over very well because it’s so different from all their other greens.

I offered them each a tiny piece. Olivia gobbled it up. I knew she would. When it comes to treats, she doesn’t take the time to smell it, she just grabs. Her motto is “Food goes in hole, gimme, gimme”. Offered a piece to Stormy, he backed away from the smell and then Bindi gave me the worst stink eye at my offering that I had to run to the kitchen and then make peace with a carrot.

How does green pepper go over at your house? I guess mine will have to go in some lasagna.

Mine don’t like it, well that doesn’t include the hoover mini lop who likes pizza and gerbils food *rolls eyes*
Mine also won’t eat dill, but will eat mint. I find soemtimes they won’t eat something enw right off the back, but eventually they will try it and like it. Papaya tablest took a bit for my Jersy Wooley.

Well, Otto gives anything other than lettuce and papaya the stink eye, so he obviously hates it. I have yet to try with Hannah though. We usually use orange peppers for cooking (DH loves the color orange! lol) so maybe I’ll offer her a piece next time. My gerbils used to really like pieces of orange pepper.

eta: Otto has also never hated something right away and learned to like it. If he doesn’t want to try it, he will never ever try it. I’m hoping when he and Hannah live together he’ll try whatever she’s eating.

I’d just like to say that green peppers are nasty. That is all.

My bunnies do not like peppers- any color- and they do not like asparagus very much either.

The first time around with Lemony he’s not that interested – it’s really the second time that determines whether or not he’s going to like it. Everybun is different!

Mine are strange with green pepper. Sometimes they refuse to eat, other times they will leave it as the last thing to eat, and then they’ll eat it. I don’t give it that often as it’s not a favorite.

Okay so basically, green pepper gets two big angry bunny stomps from most I’m not a big fan either. I much prefer red peppers.

I’m allergic to peppers, so they stay in the store and dont ever come home so my bunnies will never taste em

My bun adores green pepper, although I only give it sparingly because it’s fairly high in sugar.

My bunny LOVE to eat green peppers. He picked slice of green pepper up and run around the room before he ate it.
