Hey! I can’t help with the supplements side of things… but I have the issue with a PIGGY of a bunny that I am going to be bonding with another after they heal from their spay and neuter.
You are lucky that Glenn doesn’t care – where as mine are BOTH crazy food driven so I worry about food aggression. – but that you run in to him not getting enough and her getting too much….
SOOoo I’ve been pre-trying things…. and one is a treat ball. I put her food in the ball and she has to roll it around to get the food to slowly fall out to eat. This slows her down.
I also just throw the food in so that they have to forage for it – which again takes longer.
This doesn’t help with Glenn being a slow grazer of an eater. What about this:
Feed them half in the morning and half a night to help off set Glenn’s eating… if he’s still not getting enough with his food coming at two times than If there is still a cage in their area, put her food in the treat ball or get her forging for her food, then get Glenn into the cage and close him in so he can eat his food in piece over the span of an hour or so.
I’m not sure if others have any ideas too… as I’m curious as well for some outside of the box thinking for when I have to face something similar too!
