I finally (FINALLY!!!) taught my bunnies a trick!

It was arduous because they really didn’t care especially for anything…Finally they decided they liked raisins and we went to work…After many days they suddenly seemed to get it and now they beg on command!! It’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen…and Kahlua, I will be watching her running around playing and it’s like all of a sudden she must think of raisins because she’ll stop what she’s doing, run over to me and beg. Too cute! *sigh* finally a trick!!

I will post some pics soon!

Cute! The only trick my bunny does is if you give Stormy a coin he will toss it up in the air. Didn’t teach him that, he just gets annoyed the coin is in his way!

My buns are raisin fans as well Now they beg ANY time they hear the crinkling of any kind of bag because they think its the raisin bag. So now in the mornings when I open the cereal bag I have to do it verrrrrrrrrry slowly or else I have 7 bunnies going NUTSO in their cage because they think a treat is coming! Now that you know they like raisins though, you can probably teach them some more fun tricks like coming to their name.

that’s so cool.  i’d love to see a video.  i just recently gave Meadow raisins… and she loves them.  right now i’m giving them just as a treat… once she’s kinda used to them, i’m going to eliminate them, and then reintroduce them together with various commands.  we’ll see how it goes.

Congrats!  Tricks are fun.  I shake the papaya tablet container and the bunnies come running and jump on my lap.  Alexander also will hop about 5 steps on just his back legs following a treat held above his head. Bunnies are not too hard to train since they love food so much

Congrats on your success with the raisins I’ve only had MoSimba aoubt 5 weeks now, but I’m amazed at how smart he is. He stays away from my side of the room where the computer is, and has quit trying to expand his territory over to this side (of course I don’t leave him in here lose unattended, lol.)

He also binkys beside me then stands by me knowing when he does that I’ll give him a treat. When I rattle the treat bag he runs right over and stands up begging by my chair.

Good luck teaching them more tricks! Food sure is a good bribe
