Forum DIET & CARE Greasy Holland Lop??

        I recently got a holland lop, around 2 weeks ago and he’s about 8 weeks old now. today i woke up to feed him and realized his fur around his neck and ears were like spikey and it just looked a bit greasy?? does anyone know what’s going on?? i have a vet checkup in a week but i’m super anxious idk if it’s urgent.

          Hmmm, that’s a bit strange, could he have gotten something on him? I imagine it would be hard for him to groom that area.

              Not that i know of, i’m usually here when he’s free roaming my room, I did notice he does itch his ear a bit so i checked it and it looks fine but i’m not too sure. He acts completely normal though just looks a lot more scruffier

              Does the skin under the fur look normal (no redness or flaking)?

                  skin is a pinkish white so i think that seems normal ? I don’t see any obvious flaking or anything either. it’s a bit harder to check on his behind area because the fur is so thick so i cant see much skin but his ears are pinkish
