I prefer the dark & spooky and really enjoy wandering around graveyards. I also am really into Scottish history and read an embarrassing number of paranormal romance books set in Scotland. It’s was kinda a play on words – braveheart, graveheart

and yes, my very fluffy and cute bunnies are goths too 😉

I love the dark and spooky too!! Oh, I forgot to tell you that I wasn’t able to do the Haunted tour thing at the Ohio State Reformatory because we didn’t get back in time from the Cedar Point. Oh well. : (

I usually try to creep myself out by watching an “embarrassing number” of episodes of “Ghost Hunters” by myself. (my husband won’t watch it, not because he’s scared, just cuz he thinks is silly) But my husbands sister is the only other one I know that actually likes creepy scary stuff too. The rest of my friends won’t deal with that stuff even during the day time.

Gravehearted, that is so cool. I love graveyards as well. In fact, I found 3 of my dogs as strays dumped in my local cemetary.

Binky Bunny, Ghost Hunters is one of my guilty pleasures and I love Taps, ghost tours and such. Luckily, my family and friends accept or at least tolerate my hobbies.

ooo noooo BinkyBunny, you missed out on the haunted tour 🙁  We enjoy reading and watching ghost hunting stories too.  Have you seen this neat site that talks about the stories behind the  famous Bay Area haunted places?  http://www.hauntedbay.com/features/bayareahaunts.shtml

Bunzai – I’m so happy to hear you rescued your doggies from the graveyard 🙂  I love wandering around them too, they’re really beautiful places.

medinaserpa  – ooo I have some book recommendations for you 🙂  You should be able to score any of these pretty cheaply used

my favorite is Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series!  Wow, they are wonderful. The main character, Claire is a nurse in the 1940s and travels through the stones and finds herself in 1700s.  Amazing characters you come to love and beautifully painted (and accurate) historical portrayal. I also loved learning about all the different herbs and medical ideas she develops. First book in the series http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b/102-9829718-8538539

Karen Marie Moning – she has a whole series of Highlander books, she’s a developed a pretty interesting mythos and they just keep getting steamier 😉 This is the first book in the series: http://www.amazon.com/Beyond-Highland-Mist-Highlander-Book/dp/0440244161/ref=sr_1_6

Kinley MacGregor also does fantastic paranormal romance.  She also writes as Sherrilyn Kenyon and her Dark Hunter series is like my secret addiction, it’s not set in Scotland – but it’s really a pretty fascinating series.
