        EDITED:  I misunderstood something:

The San Francisco SPCA is helping showcase the SFACC rabbits (animal care and control)  That is a big deal because Animal Care and Control has euthanasea deadlines and it’s extremely hard on rabbit rescues like SaveABunny to save them all.  So having the SPCA help out is a big deal.   I do wish SF SPCA would take in bunnies themselves, but at least this is step in positive direction, and who knows maybe they will soon.

I know SaveABunny has been working with SPCA  on weekendsto to help educate the public about rabbits for a long while now  and my understanding is they also will be helping wherever needed with  outreach & education.

Exposure for the buns is one of the keys to getting adoptions.  There are still plenty of people out there that do not even know that bunnies are available for adoption.  Heck, until two years ago I didn’t know either.  It is a very good thing that these guys will be showcased.

Save a Bunny has a very aggressive outreach program that travels all over the bay area. From Napa, Vallejo and other areas north down to San Jose. My weekend schedule is terrible right now but they would love me to help them. Apparently Dono is a very good embassador bunny and always comes over to strangers for head pets (the dang lil pisser won’t let me anywhere near him).
