I brought Seymour’s Cottontail Cottage and food/water into the main room with me, instead of out in his usual corner. Maybe he won’t feel so alone? I feel terrible because i have a vacation planned. The pet sitters come in daily, but with Alfred gone now…Seymour will be so alone

I think it’s a good idea, as long as he doesn’t seem stressed by the change. He will need extra human company now.

It can be very stressful for the buddy left behind. I have had bunnies grieve in many different ways.

And while changing some of your bunny’s normal things/routines etc around can cause stress, if he can benefit from more company by having more of your attention, then it may be better for him at this point.

Vivian was very upset after Jack died and though she liked to keep to herself at first, she did better if I was just there with her. (It helped me too).
