  I am really enjoying getting to know Howard! He is warming up to us nicely. He’s not afraid of the dogs, in fact he likes to play chase with my Shih Tzu. Howie is loving the shelf in his cage and especially enjoys ripping up the cardboard I have covering it. He is getting braver and sometimes hops down the hall and into the living room to check that out. I gave him a basket this morning and he got so excited and tried pulling it out of my hand before I even offered it to him. I also made him a playhouse out of a vacuum cleaner box last night and cut some holes in it. I poked holes in the top and hung newspaper strips from them like the jellyfish toy in the toy forum. Howard went in for a few seconds but he and the dog had more fun using it as an obstacle to jump over. Silly pets.
  
  I just wanted to give an update on how he’s progressing and how we are all getting along.

  How fun! I could sit and watch my buns play for hours! I’ve always wished I could have a dog along with my bunnies, but I’m just so worried. Your so lucky they get along! I bet it is so adorable watching them play together, they probably confuse each other. If only…. *sigh*.

  Howie will proably end up bigger than your dog, right? i have no clue about little dogs (but i know rabbits). how big do the shih tzus get?

  Beka27, Shih Tzu’s are typically between 9 and 16 lbs. Gulliver is 13.5 lbs. So yes, Howie will certainly be larger than him soon.
  
  I think right now Howard is about the size of a “normal” adult rabbit. He weighs about 6 lbs and he is two months old.
