Ill be getting 2 rabbits both around 2months old (from the same litter) one female and one male both not spayed/neutered. Ill of course be getting them both fixed when im able to but my question is since ill have two separate cages would it be a good idea to swap them every day so they get used to each others scents? Or should I wait a few weeks until they are settled in and comfortable? Or is this only possible once both are fixed?

I would wait until they are fixed (and healed, and hormones settled down), then start swapping every day or two.

Definitely wait until they are settled in to start swapping as well.

I would let them settle in and then start pre bonding right away but I don’t think it matters either way really. If you start pre bonding and it stresses them out I would then wait until after their hormones have disipated after surgeries.
