He got on top of the icecream maker box and ripped the top off and then started chewing on the styrofoam piece that protects it….I don’t think he ate much of it if any..just looks like he was tearing it apart…will this do anything to him??  I doubt he ate enough for it to block him up or anything..but I wasn’t sure if there is something toxic in styrofoam or anything…ugh..and I hear him ripping for a few minutes but I thought he was ripping up one of the five billion boxes I gave him to rip up! But nooooo…he got under the bench and into the icecream maker box….grrrrrr

So much for their downstairs time eh? I can’t imagine they’d chew it and swallow it. Maybe just tear it up with their teeth. Let’s hope. I’m sorry, I really don’t know if it’s harmful if ingested. Maybe get him a bunch of fresh hay and water and keep things moving thru him?

Well after the horrible time I had getting Tucker back into the crate for her ride upstairs there are a few kinks that need to be worked out before the next time they come out.  One, that icecream maker needs to find a new home, and two..I need to find a way to get Tucker into the crate easier.  She just kept running around under the table and I couldn’t catch her! Drue was easy..I opened the crate and he hopped right in.  Tucker it took us about 20 minutes of chasing her around and around..finally I had to kind of grab her and move my hands while she tried to jump away and kind of push her gently into the crate and then shut the door real quick.  She was PO’d!!!!!  She was growling at me the whole time…when she got in the crate she growled at Drue too but then he groomed her and quieted her down..such an understanding boyfriend bunny he is!

Drue seemed ok afterwards though and he seems fine this morning..so I’m going to assume that he’d be showing signs of an issue by now if there was one…

When we first got Bailey he’d keep running behind a piece of furniture and we really didn’t want him back there, so we put a cardboard box there to try to block his access.  It happened to be a box for a glass game set, and it still had the styrofoam in it.  We were trying to keep him mostly free-range at the time.  I was out of the room for a little while one day, and when I came back in this is what I found:

It was an extreme mess to clean up, and we’ve been sure to keep styrofoam far away from the bunnies ever since!

OMG lol…well that makes what Drue did look like nothing!  Im sure he would have gotten there if given the chance though LOL…I’ve put a board on top of the box now though so he can come back down tonight..as long as Mike is willing to help me chase Tucker around for about 20 minutes
