Has any one used Invectrin Paste on Bunnies with fur mites?

What type of mites? (there are different types) are you going to give the paste orally?  Is this a Ivermectin product for horses?

Haven’t used it but I’ve read that products for horses are safe for rabbits (very similar systems)

Hi Kitt!  Yes, Ivermectin can be used on rabbits for both fur & ear mites, roundworms and lice.  Did the vet check for a secondary bacterial infection in the ears (assuming you are treating ear mites). Ivermectin is usually used once every ten to fourteen days, this course of treatment is repeated three to four times.  How bad are they?  If it is really bad you can use Advantage on top of the Ivermectin.

You need to make sure you get a correct dosage for ivermectin too.
