[Jenna, Chubs & Comet]

Hehe so I may have discovered something I can use to get Chubs (and possibly Comet too, haven’t tried yet) to play more! He shows no real interest in any toys or chews or anything. He likes his box tunnels and he chews on those, along with apple twigs when I bring them in, however, he really doesn’t play with other stuff- even some of the (what I think are great ideas) ideas I’ve gotten from this forum and took the time to make.

Well, me and Kc recently bought some of those tiny snickers bars and put them into the freezer to snack on every once in a while. Kc ate one last night after dinner and he kinda set the wrapper by his leg (we were sitting on the floor with Chubs) so he could throw it away when he got up. Well Chubs could not get enough of that wrapper! There was no chocolate or anything left in it but he must have loved the smell. He tossed it around and chased it when it got away from him and tried digging at it- for like 15 minutes! It was hilarious, and a snicker’s wrapper of all things?!? Anyways, I may make him a toy of some kind with snickers wrappers inside that he has to play to get to. If you have any ideas, that’d be great! Silly bunny…

That’s so funny!
I’ve noticed that Sammy is particular, and it may have to do with the size – it is lighter and easier to toss around a Snickers wrapper than something that we wouldn’t notice is much heavier in Chubs’ mouth.

Go get a bag of snickers, and lick them clean.

Isn’t it just the way though? Billions of dollars spent every year at Xmas for toys for the kids when they are little, what do they play with? THE BOX! xD

My black cat fetches the strip from the tops of milk bottles and goes absolutely aggro when someone rips a piece of packing tape around here. (The hubby put a small piece of duct tape right on her shoulder blades where she couldn’t reach it once as a joke and she freaked out trying to get it off.) Plus she stalks me if she sees me using a paper towel on anything. I get swats. The paper towels never did anything to her. But she’ll play with the cardboard tube from one almost as much as the bunnies do.

Yeah yeah, the hubby tells me the same thing MM. I’m crazy for not liking peanut butter, pizza, any sort of peppers, onions, most cheeses, a whole ton of stuff that normal people like. Theres too much to list that I don’t like Luckily, I do the cooking lol.

Monkeybun- don’t feel bad about not liking Peanut butter. I have never eaten it….. though I’m also highly allergic to it. So, Benjamin obviously won’t be allowed to play with a Snickers wrapper but maybe he would like the wrapper off of a snickers-almond. Husband eats those since he is now “allergic” too (he had to give up PB too since he is around me so much).

I get wierd looks for the things I do like. I eat brussel sprouts and asparagus, honestly I’ve never had a vegetable I didn’t like other than Okra. (It’s not the flavor, it’s the gooey stuff the consistancy of snot.) Also, it’s my personal belief that pigs are quite possibly the most delicious animal ever with bacon topping the list of things made from pigs.

MMMM asparagus. I dont like a lot of vegetables, but asparagus, broccoli, and green beans are my faves.

Also, Jenna, Chubs’ new game sounds adorable! I’m sure you know, but I feel like I have to say… be careful he doesn’t start swallowing bits of plastic.
