My local organic farmer friend just offered me the branches from prunning their little orchard.  Somewhere among the branches are apple but I would not be able to ID them probably.  Are there fruit tree branches that would be toxic?  I’m guessing that other than the apples they are stone fruits.

Yes, it’s the stone fruits wood you want to avoid.

The apple leaves have a slightly wavy, crumpled look if that helps identify them. I think the wood or leaves is fragrant also but I’m not positive on that.
