We have some sort of pear tree in our yard. (the pears are really small) I was wondering if I can feed any of it to Tonks? I see squirrels out here eating them all the time but how do I know if it made them sick or anything.

It’s probably fine but just remember fruit should be fed sparingly because of the high sugar content.  Maybe only 3x a week and only a tiny piece.

I am sure Tonks would luv it. In small amounts a few times a week.  Hurrah Tonks. I have seen Japanese Plum or pear I am not sure which but they sure are good. they look like small pears. You could even make jelly out of them. I bet that would be soooo good with your tree fruit

What about carrots? Can they be given as a daily veggie  or  is it somthing that should be given only 3 times a week or so? I have been givine her a baby carrot in the morning and one at night and 2 rasins every other day but I noticed today that she had some soft poops like 3 together in a clump and she has never had that before!!

ohh the poops being diff could be from too much fruit or raisins.  Carrots are a treat. I give them the shoestring carrots and baby carrots occassionally. Things like that have a lot of sugar and can make squishy poops too.

Ooo yummy pear! My two LOVE it, but of course it has a lot of sugar so be careful with how much you give (sparingly). Carrots are also high in sugar and should be offered as a treat only. It sounds like the soft poo could be from too much sugar, cut back to see if that eliminates the problem. Is it poo poo or cecals?
