        Hi guys,

Here we don’t get fresh blueberries and I was wondering if bunnies can eat frozen ones.

They can, but not all bunnies will. Some buns wont touch veg or berries that have been frozen, but some buns have no problem with it. If you like blueberries yourself you could try offering a few frozen ones. (Avoid giving large chunks of un-thawed frozen food. Shouldn’t be a problem for you though, seeing that blueberries are small and buns shouldn’t eat loads of them anyway).

Hi Yilina! I usually end up freezing fruit (cut into pieces) that the bunny and us can’t eat all of. Allen loves frozen fruit and even some vegetables (sometimes I freeze extra kale leaves). Sometimes he can’t get more than a little bite of the fruit since it’s slippery, and it’s fun to watch him scoot it around trying to bite it! I read that frozen carrots get too hard and are tough on their teeth, so I’m not sure if there are fruits this goes for as well? Blueberries are perfect though and Allen’s actually been getting them for treats this week. Good luck!
