Frosty has to be put to sleep today

We are going to have Frosty put to sleep in an hour. The vet says he will have no quality of life if we don’t. He isn’t responding to treatment. He thinks gi stassis is a symptom of something more sinister . He seems to have a neurological disorder. We have been crying for quite a while, I’m not looking forward to this one bit. Send him your prayers and sorry to bring such horrible news xx

I am so very sorry. I don’t know what to say that would make this any better….it just is what it is, heartbreaking for you. So I will just thank you for giving Frosty a loving home and such care and choosing to honour his needs by giving a painless end to this illness. May his journey to the Rainbow Bridge be swift. how horrible.   That seems so fast.  In 1 hour.  Just enuf time to say good bye.  Awe. 

I am so sorry he had this problem and he just couldn’t go on like that.   Poor you.  I know this is hard.

Frosty we love you and will be glad to see all the bunnies when our time comes.

Thank you all so much. You have been a great comefort as always. He went peacefully. It still hasn’t really hit me that he’s gone. His cage is still all here. We’ve buried him with his little bear with some lovely flowers on top. Yesterday we bought a little statue of a rabbit and put it on top. His grave looks lovely. I can’t think about getting a new pet right now but perhaps we’ll give another rabbit a second chance sometime soon. We loved him very much and I just keep hoping it’s nothing I could have prevented. Aw, those are wonderful pictures.
It’s going to be hard at first, but once you have room in your heart for a bunny, another one finds its way in there.
They’re so different that I find that I love Sammykins, but there are days where I still just miss Spockie.

Beautiful pictures. He had an amazing life with you. No bunny could ask for better than what you gave. When you are ready to welcome another bun into your heart, he or she will be the luckiest bun in the world, and Frosty will be happy to know you’ve found a another furball to spoil. :o)

Oh what a beautiful bunny! ^_^ I love the picture of his bunny bum! Those have to be some of my favorite pictures of anyone’s bunnies, when you can capture one. (Every time I try, the bunnies flip out and turn on me with an accusatory look. lolz!)
I am sure he is looking down on you from above though, and still sending you his love. Thanks for sharing those lovely pictures.
