I notice when we first got Honey Bunny he hopped kind of funny. But he seemed ok and not in pain.  Actually I thought it was the floor he wasn’t used to.  He gets good traction in the bathroom and still hops a little funny. Kind of like a rolling hop. Well rolling front right leg hop. He tends to roll outward from his right foot when he moves around. His shoulder kind of rolls to the right. Well it is kind of hard to discribe.

Well the other day when he actually had his head up instead of down to insist on pets I noticed his right front leg. The whole foot turns in at his knee joint or elbow or what not.  He doesn’t have a problem with it. It doesn’t hurt him.

I wonder did he break it and it healed funny or does he have a pigeon toe on his right leg from birth.  HE uses it without problems. Just looks a little funny.

I examined it and he shows no signs of pain or of it being broken at that  joint there. Of course not being a vet I can’t truly tell if it was broken or not.

Well at least that explains his funny walk. I guess I would walk funny too if I was on all fours like him and had 1 pigeon toed foot. Hmmm any ideas?

I will be taking him to the vet eventually since he seems not to be in any pain from it. But I would like him checked out anyways.

I hardly ever see his front feet.  HE almost always has his head down for pets. ON my foot anywhere just pet me pet me pet me. He can jump with it too.

it’s possible it’s an old break. at this point i don’t think they’d be able to do anything except re-break it and set it correctly (and you’re looking at big money to do that.) i think that’s what’s wrong with K&K’s Rupert, he had an old break that never healed right.

do you have rugs or towels on the bathroom floor for him? i wonder if it would be easier for him to get around with a non-slippery surface.

I have a towel for him.  I could put a rug since he is so well litterbox trained. I know he wouldn’t  pee on it. and I coudl use one in the bathroom too.
