          Don’t shave his coat.

Buns like cooler temperatures. Unless you’re needing to put on a down coat, don’t worry about him. They’re good unless you’re going below 60F.

I thought you were the same person that reported that it has been too warm lately?  Aren’t you the person who said the temp has been above 100 degrees?  I just want to be clear what exactly the problem is.

California weather can be really wierd – especially since a lot of it is built in or around deserts. a 100 to 60 change is possible and rather normal at times.

the weather here has been seriously strange this year.  we’ve had days in a row warmer than 70deg and then the temp will plummet down to 50 for a day or 2 going close to frost at night.  then back upto mild 60’s again which is more seasonable this time of year.  good thing all my annuals are in pots.  i keep having to bring them in at night.  just weird wishing i had a/c one day and then having to have the furnace on the next.

When we were at my in-laws in February Scooter and I were saying that it was colder overnight in their house (in the LA area) than it was in ours up in Canada!

I have read that buns are most comfortable between 45 & 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

However, I think that drastic changes in temperature can cause people to get colds. Therefore, it could cause bunny’s to get colds.

You know, when it is 100 outside & 60 inside & you are going in and out all day – that must wreck havoc on a body.

Strange weather pattern here too over the last few weeks.  About two weeks ago we had a major heat wave, temperatures over 100 F during the day.  Then, the temps dipped, it rained a little over the weekend (ordinarily we get no rain from May through November, this was really a blessing for the people fighting The Summit fire) and now the temps do not even break 70 F.

That’s really scary!  I wonder what exactly that means w/ all these temperature switches.  I’m in Philly area and we’ve had similar weather drama…80’s dropping down to the 50’s the next day.  Yesterday was in the high 80’s and today is more like the 60’s.  When we were housed in the school, I used to keep a blanket either in their cage or cover a portion of the cage in the evening…just to keep them toasty warm if needed.

Yes, I was the person who reported that it’s too hot and now the weather is too cold. My average temperatures a day is 56 degrees and I want to keep Domino warm. Yesterday it was cold and today it’s hot so I just want to prepare.
