I live in a one bedroom apartment, so space is pretty tight. Also, my camera is broken (CURSES!), so I can’t take pics, but I’ll tell you Hazel’s setup. I have an xpen in the corner of my living room that is open at all times (I basically don’t need it). I put a fleece blanket down, and there is a large cage inside the xpen (one from a pet store that’s actually too small for a bun to live in full time). Hazel just uses the pet cage inside the xpen as a place to nap, and the door to it is always open too. There is also a litter box inside the xpen and also inside the pet cage itself. I cut a hole in the side of a laundry basket and flipped it over, then covered the top with a sheet to give her more traction if she jumped up on top. She loves going inside the basket, and she usually does a lot of blanket digging inside. It’s nice because it gives her a good hiding place. Her food/water dishes are in the xpen too.
But Hazel also loves my bedroom, so I have 2 litterboxes in there that she uses, and she sleeps on a footstool at the end of my bed when I go to bed for the night (*squee, so adorable that she follows me in there!*). She also chews on some cardboard boxes underneath my bed, and I have various toys for her scattered around. She loves boxes, so making tunnels with them is a great way to keep her entertained (she even rearranges and flips them over!)
Other than that, she roams around the apartment doing who knows what; I’m just lucky because she doesn’t really chew or dig anything. And she’s a couch bunny, and usually just sits by me all evening when I’m at home =) *bunnylove*
