I had a late night last night and wasnt sleeping well. About 6:15, I heard a crash and sat up and flipped on the lamp. There is Fred, cowering in the corner of his bunny condo, litter pan flipped upside down. Litter Pellets and poops all over the cage and outside the cage on the floor.

Best I can tell, Fred decided to get crafty. He likes to try to climb the bars of the cage. He tried to use the litterpan as a step ladder and when he got to the top it flipped over, flipped him over and scared us both. Wasnt planning on being up so early on a Saturday morning, but it got me going in a hurry! I was completely dont with my paperwirk by 2:00 as opposed to 6 or 7 as usual.

        Just thought I would share.
        Tom

Awww poor Fred! It sounds like you have a James Bond bunny on your hands pretty soon he’ll be not only escaping but foiling assassination plots and such!

well that would’ve been startling!  of course that would’ve happened extra early on a morning you were already lacking sleep.   seems to me that my bun is the loudest when i’ve stayed up late and want to fall asleep quickly to make the most of the time i have left to sleep.  or maybe it’s just that i’m not usually awake to hear the shananagins.

HAHA!! Well, who needs coffee, who needs an alarm – looks like you’ve got Fred instead.

I felt bad that he freaked himself out. He wanted to be held so badly that I had to just sit him in my lap for awhile

Oh my word, well lets hope Fred learned a valuable lesson and won’t do it again.  Poo fella. You can always try to clip the litterpan to the side of the cage, just in case.
