Franz has met two bunnies today: one named Kesha (F) and the other Studmuffin (M). It was Franz’s first time meeting another bunny! He was super friendly lowering his head for licks and circling but no mounting by either party. They explored eachother sniffing and poking but nothing aggressive! In fact, Franz wanted to see Kesha more and stood looking up at her cage and her down at him. It was pretty adorable. Only a little scuffle the second meeting after she they made sudden movements and took a tuft of fur from eachother but then continued to be cute. Then it occurred to me to videotape durin Franz’s meeting with the young male bunny. They seemed like instant friends as well! No bad behavior there at all and lots of sniffing. Everyone keeps telling me Franz is too young an might be aggressive but now I have the proof to let him keep meeting buns<3 Franz has a date with an affectionate one eared rabbit tomorrow morning! Will take pics. <br />

        Franz and Studmuffin:

Also we met this adorable soft grey bunny with an injured foot in the back and he gave Michael kisses!! We are waiting for him to get cleared to meet Franz. We want them to name him Achilles since he doesn’t have a name yet. Also not sexed but probably a boy I think as no sign of a dulap at all.

What a sweet way for you and your Franz to spend Valentines Day! Hope Franz finds his Valentine! Thanks for the video – first time I’ve seen a motion pic of Franz I think. He is adorable!

Oh thanks! I’ve posted a few but I guess they’re lost in the forum. I mostly spend time on the phone and my bids are all on the computer. I’ll get to them!

I would advise against the dates with un-sexed (which generally means un-neutered) buns, as you never know how they will turn out after the surgery.

All the shelters out here spay and neuter after adoption with few exceptions. They include the surgery in the adoption fee, and then send you home with the rabbit in a few days after the surgery, so almost all of the bunnies are like that unless they came in spayed or neutered.

Franz met Shelley the one eared bunny today! They got along so great, no fighting or anything! Here’s the video:

After the date with Shelley, I took Franz to the animal protection center in Brockton, MA because they had so many cute bunnies on their website! First Franz played with this ENORMOUS New Zealand probably 20 lbs as he was way bigger than the 15lb Flemmie I saw earlier. His name was Emmet and I didn’t get a video of him He lumbered behind Franz trying to play with him. Franz was interested but a little scared! Who wouldn’t be? lol. Emmet was amazing and I would’ve snatched him right up had he not instantly filled the room with fur. He was so bad with the shedding that he made all four of us cough and sneeze. I loved him though

Next I brought in Jasmine. Jasmine was very playful and didn’t hide at all.

I was very smitten with her but wanted to give Franz as many options as possible. Next we saw Beauty. She had a mangled foot but it didn’t bother her. Her skin was very purple! You could especially see around her eyelids. She was mad soft. I didn’t take her home because she seemed very desperate and kind of annoying to Franz although we loved her. She also made the stankiest poops and pees ever! The woman next to me coughed and I had to get up and move rofl.

After Beauty I HAD to see this little himalayan lionhead named Pollyanna. She was the reason I came! I love Dustor so much and think he’s the cutest bunny ever (almost ) so I wanted to see if I could snag me a little copycat lol. She was so adorable and sweet. She was just a tad skittish but the folks at the shelter said she wasn’t normally like that. She was getting Franz to chase her and vice versa, it was so cute!

And a sad goodbye. Franz wasn’t happy that we took her away! But I had to make a decision about who to take… I loved both Pollyanna and Jasmine so much! A part of me wishes that I took Pollyanna because she seemed like an easier bond, but I loved Jasmine’s spunk!

So we brought in Jasmine a last time before we left to say hello to her new bunny parents! Franz was very tuckered out in this video as it had been about two hours of bunny playtime. He started to get sleepy while meeting Pollyanna.

That’s it for my bunny dating blog! Now for the hard part… >.<
