I woke up and found my old man completely silent (he normal now is noisey breathing) on his back, slightly curled, face was completely up, not moving at all under the heat lamp. Thought he passed in the cutest pose (kind of wished I took a pic in the mist of my panic). I immediately tried to right him and he had difficulty getting on his feet. Walked around bouncing off the walls pretty badly, got back in his bed but seemed like back legs weren’t working well/wobbly, left his bed and laid down pressing his stomach down ish and wouldn’t move.

Now he seems back to normal, well, his recent normal.

I confused what happened. He normally runs well in a straight line but is a bit wobbly turning. His area is small so sometimes he does have slight falls but never anything close to where he’d get onto his back. He’s too old and sick to jump and goof off. Only thing I can think of is right now, he’s leaning half on the side of the bed and half on the wall and slipped, fell out, and rolled onto his back.

How long can bun be on back? Do I need to be worried even more now?

Blood rushing from lying on his back too long? That might explain the stumbling.
