Luna is the greediest bunny i have ever seen.   How can something so cute be such a greedy eater?  When its raisin time, she always first in line. she inhales her raisin, than tried to steal Nova’s right out of his mouth.  As in, she will nudge him while he’s chewing like she wants him to drop it.  and forcibly try to get some while he’s chewing. i have to shoo her away or cover her eyes to let him finish eating in peace.  He’s the gentlest eater.  When I give him treats he will daintily take it from my hand and slowly chew it.  Luna just snatches and swallows.  How can a girl bunny be so ungirly? And a boy bunny be so dainty? LOL

do not be deceived. she is a pig with a furry coat.  =P

I feel the same way about my Gus…he will he literally anything. And even though he is shy and will run when a stranger tries to pet him, he is not in the least cautious when it comes to food. BUT, Helen is the bravest of buns. She had explored the entire house within the first few days of living here. Helen though, is very particular about treats. She turns her nose up to almost everything, the only treat she really likes is mint and even then is very dainty about taking it. Gus could show down on 3 twiggs of mint before she finishes one.
It’s so funny that our rabbits our the complete opposite.

Oh too cute *chuckle* with my two though, Bonsai is the bunny version of a vacuum cleaner and Daffodil is the docile female.

haha mine are the same. Although Bum is first in line usually he will sit and eat taking his time, Bean, my god, she wolfs hers down then heads for Brian’s chops where she’ll have it from right out of his mouth.

(oh my god, i’ve just seen THE cutest bun in the pet shop, theyve rescued a bun called Daniel, blind in one eye, buit gorgeous!!!!) Sorry change of subject there..lol

I had to retrieve a ripped open package of eadow hay this morning after being kept awake with “goings on”, so i moved it to the pther side of the bedroom as the buns dont go on the laminate floor. NOT UNTIL this morning it seems…Brian had shuffled across it, and tugged the hay bag back onto the carpet where he sat chomping away, i looked over the edge of the bed at him and he looked up as if to say, “What? Is there a problem?” lol greedy guts!

omg Spacehopper – how funny! It sounds like Brian is quite creative with his food stealing

With seven bunnies – I’ve got everything from the dainty bun to the finger eater. What surprises me the most is my blind bunny Grace. She will literally lunge at my hand if I put it near her head while she is eating for fear I’ll take her food away, but when I hand feed her the treat, she takes it so nicely and daintily that I can’t believe its the same bun!

he he, this post made me smile.

Viktor and Pandy are always stealing food out of each other’s mouths. treats, veggies, hay – it doesn’t matter. Pandy’s favorite thing is to try and steal stalks of Hareiette’s veggies. It amazes me how she does it, she might be part giraffe!

Frankie was up on the dining room table yesterday while I was on the laptop and after he tried to shove his head under my hand where the mouse was a few times, he proceeded to find a tortilla chip. I heard crunching and saw what had happened. At least it was just a small crumb!

I also have family over right now and there’s a 1-yr-old here and Frankie will find any scrap of anything within his reach! Yesterday he found some bananas and I caught him starting to eat the peel off of one then this morning he got into the baby’s cup of dry frosted cheerios!

                      What a fiend!
