Hi guys yesterday i noticed a wad of bunny hair in my hand when i was petting Hammer. idk if it is a full blown shedding coming on or a small shed or just normal but i did realise i NEED a brush lol. I thought he was a bit young for crazy shedding but maybe not. Its not awful but i did notice more fur when i pet him and fur in his cage. Now my guestion.. what kind of brush? Im not sure if i need a soft brush or what. My pet store didnt look like it had many brushes so if anyone got one off the internet links would be great. Thanks!

someone mentioned the Hairbuster comb   at SaveABunny  website. I never used it but it has great reviews from the people who have.

I have the Furminator works great too. Just use a very light hand cause that thing is heavier than your average comb. When they shed I use that every 3 days cause I overdid it on Cotton once. In between days I use a slicker brush.

I am thinking of getting the Hairbuster comb tho.

Slicker brushes (without the goofy balls on the end of the bristles) work best for me, I have ten or so brushes and my plain old ‘cat clicker’ brush is my fav

Do you guys that use slicker brushes have rexes? Cadbury seems to shed DAILY, I try to brush her, but I feel the slicker brush doesn’t really do much because her fur is so short. Anyone have recommendations for the best grooming tool for rex fur? Thanks!

My black sweater sure does a good job when I hold Lola…lol (white rex) seems to just pull the hair out.

Get a “zoom groom” it’s the most amazing thing ever! Make sure to keep it out of reach when you’re not using it though… cause your bun might eat it. It removes a ton of hair and it’s not as expensive as the furminator…. it massages them too. Radar rubs her face on it when it’s on the floor.

I use the hairbuster and furminator. Jack prefers the furminator, while Rucy likes the hairbuster.  I’ll have to check out what the zoom groom looks like.

Update: I just looked at the zoom groom and I did get that along time ago,but for some reason my bunnies didn’t care for it.  Shows how different all of our bunnies are!
