OK so I hate to post a thread just to find something I read here earlier but I looked everywhere on here. It was in regards to using 2 x4s for the edges of flooring in play areas/rooms.
I am trying to expand my buns normal play area of a superyard to my walk in closet and the bf and I bought a 6 x 8 sheet vinyl tonight (we are renting and bun like to rip up carpet) and we plan on putting it down but I know I can’t make this buns room where he can stay 24/7 sometimes unattended YET until I made sure the edges of the floor are secure.
So before we buy the wood, what was the type I can get that is secure? I know it needs to be untreated but what if he chews it? is there a better solution? I’ll post a picture when we’re done to help. I don’t even know he’ll try to get at the edges of it but I would like to take the superyard out of the equation eventually and just have a gate in the doorway. AND eventually is a farther future we’ll have the bedroom bun-proofed and he can become free range the carpet chewing stops.
