My second post about my new Frosty girl in one day! She is revealing her personality so much more in about a month’s time. She’s a real character. Affectionate but with definite opinions on how things should be. And so full of energy. Which brings me to this post’s topic. Frosty just loves to play with her toys and since she’s a big strong girl, it’s amazing how she can toss and fling them about!

She likes to toss them in her water bowl, and if I take one out (because it has a bell inside that might rust) she gives me a look, picks it up, and puts it right back in!

Also, when her cage door is open, she likes to make a great ruckus flinging toys out onto the floor! She can really throw them a distance, too. Perhaps I should look into an Olympic career of some sort for her? That’s my girl!

          Cute!

I always seem to find all of Lolli’s stuff in certain spots. Before I was sleeping on the floor, all over her things – bowl, toys, etc. – would be pushed to the edge of her rug. Now that I’m sleeping on the floor, everything is pushed together. It’s quite odd. And she will try to fling things if they are in her way. lol

Haha! That sounds cute. I love the way buns play and seem to look at you like a little kid saying “You’re not playing right! Look, you do it like this!”

Huckleberry found a small wooden box we have that has a hole drilled into it. There is a small metal rod that goes into the hole. Huckleberry pulls the rod out, which takes her a while but she is so proud when she gets it out that she shakes her head and picks up the rod and tosses it. I stick the rod back in. She stares at me in total disbeliefe that I undid all of her awesome work. She starts again.

Frosty is certainly very purposeful when she flings her toys! She picks them up and moves them, goes back to get just the one she wants, puts it where she wants (including flinging it if the mood strikes). It just amazes me how intentional her behavior seems to be! I wish I could get inside that fluffy little mind of hers!

rorschach likes to play what I call, “pick up sticks”. I got a bunch of sticks for them to chew on, and I’ll hand him one and he grabs it and flings it aside. he doesn’t even chew them, he just likes to make the point that they’re HIS sticks lol. both rorschach and nikka fling their bowl around and like to drag their hay basket around for some reason. it’s always in a different spot when I wake up in the morning lol.

My Sara Jane(rip) a French Lop was a big girl. She used to pick up her water dish( a large dog bowl) and toss it and water would slosh all over. She’d look at me and do it again and practially laugh.
