Sorry, another question. Sonwe treated our Buns with  Advantage for kittens. She free roams the house. We are also doing everything to treat the house without harming her.  Anyway, she still has fleas. She is 10lbs. We used the drops that go up to 9 lbs.  What should I do now. I use a flea comb on her a couple of times a day.

Advantage only kills larva and adults. It doesn’t kill eggs. This is why a second application is sometimes needed after 30 days. Dosage recommendations vary. I’m not sure how much is in the kitten size now. They discontinued the original Advantage.

You may need a different dosage, and in some areas the fleas are also resistant to advantage. If they are really persistent I recommend getting Revolution from your vet.

That’s a good point. Fleas can become immune to the main ingredient.

Which formula of Advantage was this? They discontinued the original. But there is also Advantage II and Advantage Multi.
