Stitch has been digging and chewing at the back corner of my couch that is against the wall. imstead of constantly telling him no and getting him away from it and distracting him, I fixed the problem with $12.00 and a trip to lowes, the local home improvement store. I bought 12″ concrete tubing that is about 6 ft long (about the same length as my couch) and put it behind there so he now has a “tunnel” to go into and around the couch! he absolutely loves it and it immediately fixed the digging and chewing problem I had with him and my poor couch. plus tge tubing is very durable and easily decorated by kids and crayons for him hahaha I can’t wait to think of more ideas as to make my house more “bunny fun” for him.

This is exactly what I wanted to do when I gave my bunnies a whole room. As I’ve got more experienced with them I find bunnies are mainly destructive when they have an objective. They are constantly trying to get behind the sofa and this has resulted in a digging/scratching attempt at my sofa. I know they aren’t intentionally trying to wreck it, they just want to get behind there. At the moment I’ve had to just block it with puppy pen panels but they are still very eager to get there. I haven’t found any tubing big enough yet but I’m still on the look out. It’s such a great idea

At Lowe’s or home Depot or any home improvement store they have concrete tube forms and they are card bored and very durable. The hole is 12″ in diameter, you can also get it in 10″ and 8″ diameter and it comes in 3ft, 4ft and 5ft. And is only 11.50 for a tube
