  I can’t even begin to describe the grief I feel today. I had to let Fiver go. His lame foot had deteriorated and the only kind thing was to release him from his failing body. I had such high hopes as Sunday night he was weight bearing on the leg. All day yesterday he stayed with me on my bed while I snuggled him. It was a wee birthday miracle for me, but that was all I was allowed.
  
  I will never forget you, Fiver. I’m so sorry we couldn’t fix what was wrong with you. No more pain now, my sweet. I will miss you so badly and I am already empty of hope and full of pain at losing you. You went to sleep so quickly, faster than Mimzy did, but I know it was because you were scared. I hope you’re not scared anymore, precious boy.

  Oh MM, I hardly have words… Im so devastated for you. Saying goodbye to Mimzy and Fiver so close together.
  
  My heart breaks at the sadness you must feel. You’ve released them both as their bodies no longer soldiered on like in the past. Such a loving thing to do for them. xxx I always called Fiver “Bambi Bunny” in my mind. : ) Such a sweet little thing. <3

  Mimzmum, I’m too beyond words sorry. I like to imagine him together with Pip and Mimzy now, on the endless fields and meadows beyond the bridge.

  I’m so very sorry…….how my heart is breaking for you. All of your bunnies were so lucky to have you. You gave them so much love.
  
  I’ve been checking BB everyday in hopes to see a post that he was improving. Alas, he wanted to be with Mimzy. Keep them all close to your heart and cherish your memories and know that you were an amazing bunny Mom.
  
  So many hugs for you….You are not alone in your grief.

  Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear this. And I’m sorry you had to lose two bunnies in such a short amount of time. You are still mourning Mimzy. My heart is breaking.

  ohhhhhhh. My gosh. I am also at a loss for words. How heartbreaking. To lose two so close together. I….am….so…….very…..sorry. I am in tears for you.
  
  Fiver and Mimz couldn’t have had a better human. What a wonderful life full of love and care you gave them.

  To lose both of your sweethearts so shortly after eachother is a nightmare. I hope they’re binkying together now, and that gives me a bit of comfort. Hoping it does the same for you. My thoughts are with you.

  I am starting to cry reading this because both Mimzy and Fiver have been part of our lives for so long.
  You are the best bunny mother ever, and all your furbabies have been so lucky to have you.

  I am so very sorry, Mimzmum. I remember your struggles with Mimz and his health problems years ago. You were so inspiring to me – the way you took care of him with such dedication and patience. When BunBun went through his first big illness a little later, thinking of how you coped gave me hope that I could get through it too.
  
  Of course you know you did the right thing, but I know it doesn’t make it hurt less. Especially when a bunny has been part of your life for years… there’s just something about our old bunnies that steals our hearts. All the care and worry and love as we help them through their difficult times just makes them even more a part of us.
  
  You are an amazing bunny mum and a great person, and I’m so sad for you, but grateful that I got to pay my respects. You and your bunnies are part of my memories of my rainbow bunnies- seems like yesterday they were all going.
