Our first over night went great! They seem to be bonded. I know the rule of thumb is 48 hours. Does that mean they need supervised tonight as well or are they good?!? When can I let them out in their play area together? After the 48 hours?

          Woohoo!!! Congrats!!!

Of course we all want to see pictures!

So technically I would prob supervise again tonight if you can. But you can trust your gut. If they just seem like the best friends ever and are totally happy with each other, they are prob fine.

Moving to a new zone (especially if it’s not neutral), and increasing the space they are in can sometimes cause some bickering, so you should plan to supervise them again when you move them or give them more space.

You might chose to do something like, keep them in the current area for another 24 hours, but maybe don’t spend the full night with them if you feel comfortable with that. Then when you are ready to supervise again, move them to their final home (cleaned, reorganized, deodorized as much as possible) and give them access to their play area.

<p style=”padding-left: 40px;”>This is their final home! They were in their neutral until they were ok without supervision so I decided to try the non neutral permanent home.
Maybe we can try the play area tonight or tomorrow. I just wasn’t sure if I should sleep by then tonight but I think they are good. It’s just how you described something clicking.
for some reason it is not letting me upload a photo. I’m super bad with technology and they are so adorable</p>

              That’s great!

The photo upload feature is still a bit glitchy while they work on the site. If you go to you profile and add the photo there, you should be able to add it to the post after as it will show up in your media library.
