  She looks so sweet! If she asks, I said really super cool. My little sister is now in 5th, I made the mistake of telling her she looked sweet one day, WOW… she turned blood red, stormed off and redid the entire outfit… She still looked sweet though, even after the demonic tantrum.
  Your schools start later than ours. In OK, they started as early as Aug 1st, the schools in my town started last week though. I hope she has a great first day!!!! Good luck, little one.

  Thanks! Deja had a great first day Huckleberry! She was worried about her teacher because all the kids from “other” classes told her she was mean. But she ended up to be super nice.
  Every district in CA starts different. Ours seems to start later, but they have so many holidays and last year they started to have random furlough days because of all the budget cuts. Sad for the kids…

  Time does fly! Mine are 12 and 9!! That is why I am filling my house with animals so I won’t experience empty nest syndrome when they leave! haha!
