So I have what I think is a female bunny.. she has nipples.. somewhat vertical slit as genitals but it’s so hard to tell.
I knew my other two bunnies were males because they humped my stuffed animals and then magically testicles appeared. But my (female) doesn’t have testicles and she is 5-6 months old. It looks sort of like she is getting a dew lap but again, it is so hard to tell. Shes the only one of my bunnies that bites and i know females are more aggressive. So anyways I put one of my stuffed animal bunnies near her today and she just nibbled it, and then realized it was fake and started scratching it. Also, one of my male bunnies spray any chance he gets when hes on my bed. My (female) has once, but it wasn’t really a spray, kind of like a squirt. I know the difference because my male covered my entire bed with urine once. But I am very confused and i call her my little princess but if shes really a he.. i’m going to feel pretty stupid. Anybody have an input?

I think if there are no testicles now it’s a safe bet it’s a girl… There are rare occasions when they don’t appear and boys can and do have nipples… Girls will also hump things if they are dominant females….
However, I think it’s safe to continue calling her princess (and don’t worry you would not be the first one to have to change names, I was lucky mine had generic names when I discovered Pepper was a doe not a buck)

Thank goodness. She has a lot of characteristics of a doe but that can also be deceiving. She’s a lot more adventurous than my male rabbits aswell, and she doesn’t find trouble, trouble finds her.
I think I’ll keep her nickname.

She does sound like a female.
I would however take her in to the vet just for confirmation, and to discuss her spay.
              She is adorable!

                What a cutie!

I agree, the behavior and the lack of testicles make me think she is a girl.

It does sound like strong case for being a female.

                  Are the male rabbits intact?

Males definitely have nipples too. Look at any guy at the beach, nipples. Nipples mean nothing.

When I came across my Henry’s boy bits (and I wasn’t looking for them), well, lets just say I was mortified! Who knew ‘it’ could be that big?????? After he went for his neuter, he lay under the bed for a week next to the soccer ball! We told him to stop ‘kidding himself – he wasn’t THAT impressive’! Lol! I too think it may be safe to keep calling your bun princess. Cheers Chey_.

Thank you everybody! I will take her to the vet asap.
And as for my boys, they are intact but I let them no where near my female.

That is hilarious. I was absolutely terrified when I found Pepe’s manly parts. I thought they were tumors. Like, I knew they would pop out eventually but i was not expecting them to look the way they do. So gross
