OMG, it’s February!

Tomorrow is Groundhog Day and we’re having a blizzard to celebrate. I’m doubting he’ll be seeing that shadow with virtually zero visibility (supposedly) tomorrow morning.

BunLuv – Aww, poor Josephine. I agreed with Bam (January Chat) that it can take time, but hopefully there will be some improvement eventually. I love the picture of BB.

February! Spring is on it’s way! At least theoretically! We have a storm-warning.

Took Bam to the vet yesterday. His tummy was fine by then, his jolly little personality had returned along with his normal, hearty appetite, so they didn’t do anything except listen to his heart and look at his teeth with the otoscope. There were no gigantic spurs or they’d have seen it, but they of course didn’t want to anesthetize him to check more closely since he’s eating and pooping just fine again. And I couldn’t be happier =) He had his myxo-rhd-shot, it was just about due anyway.

Both buns seem to love their supplement-pellets now, but the papaya fruit plus gets left until there’s nothing else. Silly wabbits!

I keep having all these ideas for rabbit-related things I can do. Most of them cost money that I don’t have right now which is very frustrating since I can’t work towards those things except to research and plan them extensively (which I suppose is good).

I bought a new little fleece blanket the other day too (even though I currently don’t have a rabbit ) I saw it out of the corner of my eye when I was in the supermarket yesterday and I just couldn’t help myself. It’s this beautiful soft green with cute little african animals on it It was a bit embarrassing unpacking the grocery shopping with my husband and showing him I’d bought something for a rabbit that we don’t even have yet, and not sure how soon we’ll have, haha. Ahh well, it’s not like he doesn’t know how obsessed I am.

But these last two nights they both have eaten their papaya tablets like good boys, or at least I hope they have so it isn’t Effi (dog) who’s eaten Bams…(They sleep in the same room).

Well, a dry pocket of air is pushing the snow north so it has stopped here for now. Sounds like we only got 5 or 6 inches. And the resident (stuffed) groundhog was reported to have not seen his shadow.

I can’t believe it’s February!

Cleo is back from the vets! My sister agrees that Snickers’ vet is MUCH better than the one she was taking Cleo to. Anyway, the vets say it is Colitis (which we kinda already knew, we just didn’t know what was causing it). She very strongly believes it is due to a food allergy (she’s been on IAMS). So she’s getting switched to some very expensive food (it’s like $53 dollars for5 pounds) that’s supposed to be amazing for their system. So she thinks a higher quality food will do her good. We get the food Friday and we then have to wait a month to see if it works. *Crosses fingers*

Moxie’s doing good. I’m planning on bringing in a sled full of snow for her to play in.

Iams is pretty poopy quality-wise. Is the food you got prescription? Those are often a waste of money. You can buy high quality food from a specialty store. It’s expensive, but not that expensive. Are you feeding her dry or wet?

Yeah I agree Iams is pretty bad. We live in a very rural area and it’s better than like 9lives or purina so that’s why we feed that. She eats dry (she won’t go NEAR wet food), and so is the new food. The new food is a prescription from the vets.

Oh and Cleo has gained a tiny bit of weight. She’s now officially over 6 pounds. She weighs 6.15 pounds (2.789593 kilograms)
The vets say it’s just her body stature, and it’s perfectly normal for her.

You don’t have any specialty stores near you? That stinks. Yeah, some of the foods are hard to find. I had to go to a specialty store (small business) to buy Acana for my dog. It’s a grain-free food.

It’s now snowing little ice pellets. The radar shows it as rain. Huh. Interesting.

Nope, no specialty stores around here. It takes us 40 minutes 1 way just to drive to town where there’s a Walmart.

So Princesses ear is clear of pus and the little piggy has gained all her weight back and more. She weighed in at almost 2.6 lbs. She was previously 2.4 lbs.

BB seems to have had an attitude adjustment because he accompanied us. No more trips without him, even if he is terrified. No humping, he is quietly sitting by himself, lol.

I actually love the snow!
And that’s such a cute idea to bring snow inside for the buns! I live in an apartment with no yard for bunnies to play in so I will have to try that if it ever snows again here lol. Such a weirdly warm winter we are having.

Hi Olivia&Delilah! Trust me, you don’t want the heavy wet snow we got. The snow blower could barely move through it and it was actually bending the shovel when I tried cleaning up the slush falling from the trees after the driveway had already be cleared.

Oh Azerane, that’s just so crazy cute, buying stuff for a bun you haven’t even got yet =) 

I just couldn’t help myself, it was just begging to be bought I already have a fair few other things lined up that I want to get when the time comes too. NIC condo expansions are just one of the things planned.

We currently have unseasonally cool weather here in South Australia because yesterday the remnants of a tropical cyclone passed across the north of the state which hit us with a lot of rain and cooled things right down. The rain has been great for the garden.

Bunluv, great news about Josephine’s ear! Yay!!!

We have rain now, but how I enjoyed the snow we got in Jan =) Long hikes in the woods that have never been prettier, everything was covered in frost. It was extra special because we’d not had any snow at all for two whole winters before this.

Moxie, I too have Acana for my dog, I cook most of her food but supplement with some dry food and I must say Acana agrees with her. It’s one of the few dry foods that she’ll eat even if I don’t add home-cooked “stew” to it. Could you get it online? It’s Canadian. Taste of the Wild is another grain-free alternative. It’s made in the USA.

Is it bad I’m liking the new X-Files? Monday’s episode was great, very much like classic X-Files episodes. *sigh* They can’t just do 6 episodes. What are they thinking?!?!

No, I like it too. Was a HUGE fan of the original series (and movies) back in the day, and when my brother told me they’re making a limited-run season, I thought he was pulling my leg. When I realized that he was serious, and I hit “play” on the first episode, the moment the theme music started I got goosebumps and couldn’t help letting out a little “squeee” that scared poor Chewie right off the sofa. lol

I get the feeling that they’re (a) updating the conspiracies to reflect modern times, (b) trying to give closure to a few story arcs (like William’s story), and (c) trying to make one episode of each of the major “types” the series was famous for. Episode 3 cracked me up – I absolutely loved it.

So, not too scary stranger didn’t run in the opposite direction when he saw furry creatures but made no attempt to coochycoo them or stroke when cat came up to rub around him – so that’s a NO in my book ….. lol

Moxie – you just have to trust your instricts sometimes…. – meeting new people makes life richer and full of new expériences.
My target house share was a young (calm) female student (I could kick her ass if there’s any trouble) but in fact over the years my target lodger is a 30-40 male, doesn’t live too close (don’t want family or friends visiting every day!), doesn’t live too far away (ex China.. so NEVER goes home) and takes cares of himself (I can’t imagine myself sharing my bathroom with smelly overweight stranger who doesn’t care about hygiene…..)

I’m thinking now, girls much more complicated (present company excepted LOL!) and spend MUCH more time in the bathroom (present company excepted !!).

And when you have an extra bedroom lying empty, you can make quite a few bucks (euros !!) from renting it out !
(Plus free animal sitter on site to feed if necessary…..)

Popping in to let you know we’re still alive down here!
Tilly and Duncan are doing well (although the vet wants Tilly to diet a bit and run more, Good luck!) and Zoey has been trying to make playmates out of the munchkins… who are not sure of that just yet.

We’ve been staying pretty busy with getting ready for our new baby in April, doing multi-state taxes and trying to bond our 2 pairs into a quartet. I did pop into the diet/care section for some advice on hock issues; but I know I’ve not been active here lately. I hope everyone is doing well!

BM- I think there is only one BB page on Facebook, but I know I keep up with several of the old members on Facebook separate from the BB page. We’ve kind of hunted each other down a bit and friended each other so it’s not really a specific page to keep up with; just people. I just had to pop in to say that while I was trying to catch a lie in, my wife was supervising the bunnies.

Naturally, they all wanted to bounce around on the bed. I could feel Albus and another rabbit on my back (George and Charlie are hard to distinguish by weight alone). Next thing I know, my wife is yelping “No, Albus. We don’t mount Charlie on mummy’s back.”

First time in a couple of months and it would be on me, lol.

Okay guys something weird happened just now. I was thinking earlier today about future pet names. I am determined my next pet will be a boy. (all our pets are girls except Zero (dog) and Kiko (cockateil)). And for some reason the name “Carl” got stuck in my head. I was thinking about if it would ever be possible for Moxie to like another rabbit. For some reason I decided to check out a humane society’s website for another county an hour or two away. I was looking at the bunnies they had page after page I only saw girl bunnies except for one or two. Finally I got to the last page and it was a little gray boy bunny named Carl! How strange.

There’s a continental giant rabbit called Atlas available in the UK whose been making the rounds on facebook, but he’s hundreds of miles from us (we’re in South England and he’s in the middle of Scotland).

Two (separate) people have shared his picture with my wife and I and others have tried to persuade us. There’s a video of him and everything. He’s soo cute and has the most adorable ears. He’s only 7 months and still growing. We’d call him Hagrid if he was ours!

I think he’d probably squash Albus if we tried the slightly crazed act of bonding a quartet, lol.

VBiF: I wasn’t hit by flooding. We’re in Oxford. We had some terrible flooding a couple of years ago that wrecked a friend’s house, but ours is far enough from the Thames that the only problem was that the buses were constantly delayed and diverted.

I would love to be able to pick Atlas up like that. I reckon he’s got a mean kick if he doesn’t want it, though!

Yeah, the Sun is a crock of sh*t. I don’t read it normally, promise! It just popped up on my facebook Her official twitter has a status about it, though. So she’s at least expressed interest. In the process of ‘fact checking’ just now, google tells me she has a child called Bunny… I guess Atlas will fit right in.

OMG, I made SO much progress on Wooly tonight! I have been so afraid to do any serious grooming with him because he always seemed to get so stressed out. I was worried he couldn’t breathe since, you know, he has his stuffy nose. Well pair that with the fact that Wooly is in shedding mode and wow, what a mess! Determined me marched right in there tonight though. I grabbed him and took him to the living room. There was so much fur coming off him, I swear I could knit a sweater! He has a nice bald spot on his rear now. LOL Oh and that “doughnut” mat on his chest? Yeah, I got that. You guys don’t want to know what evils I stooped to to get that baby off (Hint: My husband would be mad if he knew). *sigh* Now if only I could get his nails done. They are so long! I might have to have the vet do it. o_O

Oh I know Moxie. I’m always so afraid to cut them. And touching Wooly’s feet is a no-no. LOL
It was so weird. I started brushing the loose fur off his rear and, as it was coming off, a void actually “opened” where he had nothing but short new growth.

A void opened on Yohio’s face a couple of weeks ago, he suddenly lost virtually all hair on his ears + on the lower half of his face and there was only dark grey new growth left. He looked SO silly! But the yellow is starting to come back now.

Bam & LBJ10, when you say “void” does that mean skin and no hair? These tufts of hair used to come out of Thor’s cheeks in the summer (attached to some hard follicle thing), leaving bare skin. Vet said he was fine, but it was so darn weird to see them pushing their way out of the skin!

Paradigm : my sis-in law used to teach Katie Price’s kids, so when parents’ day came around, wasn’t she just chuffed that not Katie, but their Dad came….!!!
The normal allocated 10 mins per child strangely made it to 30 mins with Peter André, my sis-in-law was smitten !!! “He’s just SO SO nice”….
Needless to say my poor brother had to wait a few days before the comparison wore down !!! LOL

Is Peter André a celebrity in the states? I have no idea?….. (for info the 2 kids names are Junior (not that strange for the USA!) and Princess !!!!! – yeah really:!!)

No it wasn’t bare skin. It was short (new growth) and completely black. Wooly normally looks gray-ish. He’s kind of like Moxie in that he is black, but his wool is gray.

It looked so weird though. It reminded me if a flower unfolding.

When Moxie sheds, it’s usually pink an bald. It looks so weird lol!

I was able to trim Moxie’s front nails today. Anyone wanna help with the back feet? ha ha

The lions are shedding like crazy here. I’ve given up on cleaning my house of the fur.

With Yohio, there was ample new hair-growth, but Bam can shed so there’s bare skin, pink and with black spots.
Bam also sheds those little tufts of hairs around his mouth, they’re attached to a “plug” of keratin or sth, I don’t know. When I see one of those beginning to loosen I MUST pull it out.

Vienna, I know who Peter André is, he used to be a celebrity here as well, but but Katie Price I had to google =) Atlas is one big bunny!!

Mine isn’t a bad one, health is good, got a job, roof over my head… but life is flying by and I’d love to do something worthwhile…. change the world, save a few lives….. !!!
My problem? Toooo much choice. The world is my oyster…. How can one choose when they can do pretty much anything they’d like??!!

Can I say I’m a bit annoyed? There were some changes in staff where I work. I wasn’t here Wed and apparently the office area became a free for all for rearranging where everyone is setup (cubicles). I was excluded from all of this and they basically told me yesterday I could take whatever was left. Wow. o_O

I must say if I died tomorrow (not planning to…) , I would probably say – up on my cloud looking down…lol – I had quite a few wishes that I hadn’t accomplished… yet !!

Vienna – oh good, cause I was pretty ticked off. The workstation I had been using? Gone. The large cubicle that had been holding all of my educational materials? Gone. They stacked all that stuff up inside a smaller cubicle. I’m going to have to figure out how to organize it. Secretly, I had wanted to move into that larger cubicle myself since my programs require so much stuff.

Hmm, I don’t think I would be satisfied. The problem is sometimes following your dreams means having the means and money to do so. Most people can’t drop everything and save the world. Not will bills to pay. LOL

Luckily the wood came, Yay! But it’s so cold, I am anxiously awaiting the warmer weather! Winter Stinks! (Although warmer weather means mud season, AKA “I don’t know if this is mud or dog poop” season…Then it’s Summer…The season of pale flabby thighs-Pass! Can we just skip to autumn where we can wear cute leggings and T-shirts and it’s not too cold? ha ha) Can you tell what my fave season is? Fall.

I can’t decide what I want to do with my future. I love animals and kids, but I don’t know if I’ll have the guts to do anything that has to do with surgeries or dying patients (whether it be animals or people). Ehhhh Decisions Decisions!

You’d inevitably come across lots of animal suffering, of course, but you could help so many animals. You seem to have a natural knack for animals and a really wide experience. Chickens and dogs and cats and bunnies and fish already =)

If I’d lots of money I’d go volunteer with lions or sth in Africa. (One of my mother’s friends that for a summer). But what would Bam and Yohio and Ephi do meanwhile??? I don’t think Africa would be safe for them. Lions definitely wouldnt =D
On a more realistic note I’d like to learn how to do drop spinning. Wool, not gym-spinning. For gym-spinning, I’ve booked myself into a 180 min spinning-class tomorrow. I’ve never done more than 150 min before.

Bam had a re-lapse of sticky-poop yesterday =( Gave him a butt-bath and meds. He’s acting very cheerful though. Great appetite, runs in his tunnels, jumps on his beds and boxes and demands cuddles. But it really felt like a set-back.

Well, now my pup has gone to rainbow world, I MUST go see my best mate down in Sydney.

I had a terrible dream last night too. For some reason, I had to give the buns to a girl to adopt. But her boyfriend was plotting to do these horrible, sick things to them (so horrible, you guys don’t want to know). All I could do was look for ways to get them back. I tried proving to the police that something wasn’t right, but they wanted hard evidence. o_O

And yes, in Kuwait traffic laws are treated as more of a suggestion. We have the highest automobile-related mortality rate in the world, and it’s all because of the geniuses who think that it’s ok to speed down emergency lanes because they don’t like the traffic, or make left U-turns from the right-most lane in a three-lane road, or who have simply not mastered the art of the roundabout despite having bribed someone for a driver’s license, or who suddenly cut across four lanes of high-speed traffic because they couldn’t be bothered to prepare for their exit ahead of time, or simply think that because there are more exotic cars here than dogs, they’re living in an installment of Fast & Furious and must drive accordingly.

There was an owl last night sitting on the post of our net for our trampoline, watching in the window of our chicken coop. He was trying to figure out a way to get in. The chickens saw him and were FREAKING out, flying around, giving their warning call. The scary part is he was NOT afraid of people! And it was only dusky out. I’m too scared to take my dog out at night now. Even on a leash it’d take 2 seconds. =/ I still think owls are pretty though.

Owls can be aggressive, it’s not so rare that they attack people. There is a type here that’s infamous for attacking people, the Cat Owl (lat. strix aluco). Maybe if Snickers wears her tutu the owl won’t realize she’s a dog? (NO, joking. Don’t try that. I know you won’t, of course). I don’t think you have Cat Owls in the USA but judging from the size of your squirrels I bet your owls are huge. But beautiful.

I’ve never encountered an aggressive owl. If you are encroaching on their space, they will clack their beak at you. That’s about it. Then they retreat if you continue to come closer.

I’ve never been attacked by an owl but I have been attacked by a herring gull (lat. larus argentatus). They sometimes build their nests on top of apartment buildings and then they defend the street. Luckily I was carrying a plastic bag with groceries so I swung that over my head. Probably looked more than silly but I felt I didn’t have much choice. It kept coming back but stopped when it decided it had succeeded in chasing me far enough off. They’re pretty big.

The biggest owls we have around here are great horned owls, then barred owls. There are larger owls that live way north, in Canada. We have smaller owls like barn owls, short eared owls, long eared owls, and screech owls (the smallest around here). Now I have been attacked by geese, gulls, grackles, blue jays, etc. LOL  Never an owl or hawk.

You know what’s interesting about owls and other birds of prey? If you hold them on their back and cradle them like a baby, they will trance sort of like a rabbit.

It’s good to know about cradling a bird of prey, I once found a hurt one and took him to the animal hospital because that’s where you’re supposed to take injured wild animals. I don’t know what he was, I was never able to figure that out, but he was big. I don’t think he made it, he was badly hurt =(

Geese tend to attack people! Not wild geese, but the domestic ones. Domestic geese are fearless creatures =)

Bam— Both my sister and the bird were both okay.

The only bird I’ve been attacked by are roosters (and a couple hungry seagulls). Mammal wise I’ve been attacked by a cat and a ground hog (me and my sister were playing on our tire swing in the woods and it charged us, and we went running! ha ha). Other than that I can’t think of any.

I’m pretty sure the owl was a barred owl that wanted the chickens.

Bam – LOL, well, I did work somewhere where there were lot’s of nesting birds. And Canada geese and snow geese are VERY aggressive. They will even sit in the middle of the road, blocking your car, honking at you. Aww, poor thing. It is usually collisions with cars around here since many will eat roadkill.

LOL Moxie, those groundhogs are vicious. And yeah, barred owls are often seen perching out in the open during twilight hours. Some will even hunt into the daylight hours, especially in winter when food is scarce.

We had to switch our 17 year old dog to canned food because she just can’t eat the dry stuff anymore. She’s messy though, getting food all over the floor. The linoleum is cheap and, for some reason, it’s a huge pain to get stuff off of it. My husband’s solution? See below….

In case you can’t tell, he cut a piece of clear plastic and taped it to the floor with masking tape. The dog had eaten some of her food and you can see how she left some on the floor. Now just imagine how gross that is after it has dried on the floor all day while we’re at work.

Moxie, I’d love to see pics of the owl. It is a bit scary though that you have that hungry guy hovering over your critters.
There was a sad but idiotic owl-story on the news here last summer. There’s a place in Sweden up north where eagle owls (bubo bubo) have traditionally nested for many many years in an old abandonned quarry. The eagle owl had become a symbol of the area and the local authorities decided to put up a staty of an eagle owl at the quarry, in some sort of not very clever attempt to honor the owls and attract tourists. The staty was put up, and it didn’t take very long before the real owls moved out.

So an owl decoy might work. You could craft one!

Edit: a decoy owl could scare off the small birds though and that’d be sad.

There’s a decoy owl on a lighthouse near my parents’, they put them up on lighthouses to deter other birds. But it doesn’t work. Whenever you sail by it there are lots of birds sitting lined up all around the decoy owl. Mostly cormorants. I think it’s mostly the cormorants they don’t want on the lighthouse because of the infamous cormorant poop. It hasn’t helped one bit.

I had to look the owl statue up to see if there’s been any progress, and they did decide on Nov 16 last year that the statue should be moved away from the quarry! That’s great new imo, I was afraid they’d just investigate the possibility of a statue scaring off the owls for years and years and no eagle owls would ever be seen in that quarry again. I hope they’ll move back now when the coast is clear =)

Everyone who works for the City. They were made public on purpose. Government transparency. Actually, they were technically public before, just difficult to find. Now every news network has a spreadsheet link on their website. Someone decided it was a good idea. You know, to ensure the government was indeed being transparent.

Yay me too ! I’m back in training to pick up Zou and put her on my knees (when i’m kneeling on floor)
I hide her eyes (she always goes into “I’m floppy” mode) then scoop her up under her belly and pop her on my knees.
Usually as soon as I’ve taken hand off her eyes she bolts off knees.
So i thought hey she usually goes all gooey when i scratch her bum, so with one hand over eyes the other scratched her bum !! LOL
Then I took hand off eyes and she stayed put !! YAY !!
THEN I took hand off bum too and she stayed put again !! DOUBLE YAY !!!!!
And then she got off gently and turned around for more !!!! TRIPLE YAY !!

My Bam sits in my knee now without trying to get away – he took to sitting in my mother’s lap quite happily rather a long time ago, but now he sits in my lap too. The first time he did it I was afraid he was sick or sth =) Bam is a slow learner, as I’ve mentioned here before. 1 year to leave his spot under the coffea-table for anything but a really yummy treat, 2,5 years to figure out his treat-ball, 4,5 years to accept being sat in my lap and pet. A slow, but steady learner.

Yohio is munching on sth right now. I’m in bed. I love hearing a rabbit munching on sth. It’s such a comforting sound =)

Trimmed Tilly’s Toes (nails) Today (just had to use all “T”s LOL ). I will also be trimming Paris’ nails today. Then I’ll get a closer look at Snickers’ and see if hers need to be done. Zero normally keeps his filed down, and the vets need to trim his when they get long because he struggles too much. He was nearly a year when we got him and he hadn’t been trained to let people trim his nails. Maybe if I’m feeling adventurous Moxie will get hers trimmed too?

Hey Guys!! Guess what- It’s Snowball’s birthday!!! He told me to let you guys know that he’s looking for a new bunny-mobile. Ah such a spoilt fluff. Oh and bam I’m so pleased you showed me LEL’s toytorials (on one of the recent topics I started) , I stayed up till 1:00 last night making a bunch of them for this special day so thank you!! LEL I know I’m about a year and a half latebut thank you so much for taking the time to make those fabulous toys, they were really straight forward for what they were! Did you make any more after the hot chocolate mug? I’d love to make some more for my little bun

Moxie, you’re right of course, it does depend on WHAT they’re munching on!!! I’m more concerned when I hear digging and ripping though. Esp the sound of wallpaper being shredded =/ Both Yohio and Bam are pretty good about not eating non-food nowadays. They leave it for me to clean up =)

Vienna, the foot-flick-story reminds me of how Yohio could pee several feet up the wall. I still don’t understand how that’s even possible, he’d back up against the wall and pee and there was pee from the window sill and down to the litter-box. He only did it sitting in his litter-box, but it of course wasn’t high enough =) I put up big pieces of cardboard to protect the walls. It stopped a few weeks after he was neutered, thank goodness. Talk about vertical action.

My husband and I are still amazed a bunny flung a poo up on the basement ceiling of our old house. The ceiling was around 6 ft high. Still not sure how that happened. Lol

I am mad at Moxie right now, but am also relieved. She decided to jump out of her X-pen and destroy the lighting wires to my brand new fish tank’s hood. (also the only source of lighting for the tank) It’ll cost me about $100 I don’t have, to replace it, and my mother is going to kill me. Thanks Moxie. 

BUT, I am relieved, because it was not plugged in, so she didn’t get electrocuted. She easily could have decided to chew the filter or my mother’s laptop charger (which were both plugged in) but she decided not to. (At least not yet, I caught her in the act) So at least my VERY naughty baby is safe.

But seriously though…She’s SUCH a pain in the butt!

Moxie, from a rabbit’s perspective, it was extremely considerate of Moxie to only snip the fish-tank lighting-wire when she could’ve just as easily destroyed a lot more. She’ll get the Kind-and-Considerate-Award from the rest of the (Secret) International House-Bunny Community. I think that award is what the bunnies in Bunny Daddy’s pic in the February Pic thread is discussing, actually =)

Friday night I was shopping with a friend and had a total meltdown over a sales persons ignorance. But we stopped at a pet store for snake food and they had a bunny!(who looked much like my Hazel) I patted her head a bit and felt immediately better! Yay for bunny therapy!

It should be noted that this bunny DID NOT come home with me! We don’t need back in the double digits lol!

Happy Super Tuesday! Don’t forget to vote! I wish they wouldn’t keep candidates on the ballot that have dropped out, I wonder how many people waste their vote on someone who’s not in the race anymore… But I guess it would be their own fault for not paying attention.

Moxie: How did your mom take it? I hope she wasn’t too mad. I’m sure Moxie was just trying to help.  I’ve had a lot of cords destroyed by bunnies in the past, some were pretty simple to fix, maybe you could try that before spending $100 on a new one?

I can be anywhere in our house and hear a bunny thump and with a 95% success rate, I can tell who it was. Now bear in mind, we have nine bunnies. Is that some mad bunny mama skills or what?! Lol

Also, have you ever tried thumping back at your bunny? The looks of sheer horrendous disbelief are HILARIOUS!!!
