I just noticed the corner of one of Edson’s eyes, the skin part not the actual eye is slightly red.  I think he poked it with his hay as he loves to bury his head in the hay rack.  Is there something I should put on it  to nip any potential problem in the bud?  I’m probably over paranoid because it is really only a tiny bit red.  Thanks.

I think I would leave it alone rather than putting something in that might irritate it more – if it persists then I would see the vet. You just never know what the vet will suggest.

Definately keep an eye on it. I hope he didn’t scratch his eye, Daffodil did that once and the vet put some dye in her eye to diagnose it.
